Favorite Read-Alouds
Contributed by University School Students - grades 1-4
As part of University School's summer reading program,
parents of primary boys are asked to read a selected book aloud to
their sons. The book is chosen by University School's staff to provide
an introduction to the next year's theme studies. The library staff
provides a list of other excellent read-alouds, and encourages parents
of students of all ages to continue reading aloud to their children.
Primary boys at University School contributed the following list of
their read-aloud favorites. As you read a book aloud with your family,
think about whether other families would enjoy reading it together.
Send suggestions of must read books to your
pagemaster and they will be included on the list.
